Welcome to Innocence of Nam on Ning.

What have you gone through since the war? Who have you leaned on? Who do you call family?
This network is here to support veterans of Vietnam and other wars and military campaigns. Vietnam stole the innocence from young men and women, from what we were told to do to how we were treated when we came home. That kind of trauma doesn't leave easily. Even since then, veterans of other wars and campaigns are finding it hard to overcome the affects of battle. We need a place where we can release our pain and find others who have coped with the stress.

PTSD is not an easily-fixable disorder. Neither are the medical issues that come from battle. Here we will heal the right way. We can share our stories, get things off our chests and even help each other find resources we couldn't find on our own.

Dave Stromire, Cpl USMC Echo 2/1, welcomes his brothers in arms and others who want to join the solution.

If you need any help navigating this site or have questions about features we provide, contact the webmaster by email.

"Check out a letter I received from Dave Wingfield. It tells you why I decided to start this website. Hopefully you too can find the support and resources you need. With your brothers to help it shouldn't be as hard." (Dave)

Spell Check Notes

Perhaps, when we talk to our friends on Innocence of Nam or other sites, we want to make sure our spelling is correct. Not all sites have their own spell check, and some sites that do have a spell check don't remember when the word you are spelling is really the correct spelling (like a name). Innocence of Nam and Ning, our service provider, doesn't have the capability of having a spell check in its writing system. But there are better alternatives that can help spelling on Innocence of Nam as w… Continue
